We are proud to offer an extensive wine list, hand selected to perfectly compliment our unique cuisine.
Wines from the best growing regions around the world are represented, each of which reflects the unique terroir and style of that region.
Estância is pleased to offer the finest representations of these premium regions:
Napa Valley, California: best known for Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The full elegant style often called "New World", which has transformed California winemaking for the last 20 years. Bright vibrant fruit, strong woody tannins and a lush richness.
Sonoma County, California: a hearty full bodied region, producing outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Pinot Noir, but perhaps best known for Zinfandel, the only truly American red wine varietal. Rich berry fruits, dusty tannins and fabulous body are the hallmarks of Sonoma.
Argentina: Home to the oldest winemaking tradition in the New World. Classy, rich, clean wines, defined by their "Old World" rustic qualities combined with a clean, traditional elegant style. Best known for Malbec, Bonarda and Syrah. These red wines are designed to go with beef, and nobody makes a better pairing than Argentina and Beef.
Brazil: Our Brazilian cuisine is of course designed to match with Brazilian wines. Bold and supple, full bodied and nothing better to pair with our meats.
Chile: The fastest growing wine region in South America, producing earthy, swarthy wines to suit any palate from light and smooth to full bodied and robust. Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah and Carmenere are their best known wine varietals.
Bordeaux: The "premiere" wine region of both France and the world for red wine. Their old, long established vineyards and traditions, blending Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc together creates an amazing red wine of finess, elgance, breadth and complexity, characterised by bright cherry, warm vanilla, and supple tannins and acidity.
Italy: A truly ancient wine making region, going back to the time of the Greeks and Romans. Supple dark red wines, all with a fine rustic elegance and backbone, pairing beautifully with meats. Best known for Chianti, Barolo, Sangiovese, Amarone, Nebbiolo.
Australia: The "new" New World for wine. The Australian style is as brash, bold and big as the Aussies themselves. Deep dark fruit, spicy, meaty and oaky flavors able to stand up to meats of any kind. While they make excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, they have defined Shiraz as their own signature red wine. Jammy, spicy, lush dark fruit and huge oaky tannins make this a crowd favorite choice with beef.
Estância is also pleased to offer an equally extensive selection of the finest white wines available world wide, as your apertif, or to accompany our salads and chicken dishes, as well as a selection of the finest Champagnes and Sparkling Wines to help you enjoy any celebration or festive occassion.
